Following three straight wins, the SBB Vukovi Belgrade look to stay on course, while the Ljubljana Silverhawks follow their tough loss from two weeks ago with another hard game – they host the Cineplexx Blue Devils.

The Vukovi have a very good chance to stay undefeated and record their fourth win of the season. They host the Zagreb Patriots, the only remaining winless team. The Vukovi beat the Patriots in the opening game of the season for both teams – the final score was 7-27 in Zagreb.

Following that game, the Patriots lost once again in Ljubljana, this time even more convincingly. All in all, a win for the visiting team would be one of the biggest surprises of the season. The game will be played on Saturday, starting from 3.30PM CET.

On the other hand, more is expected from the matchup between the Ljubljana Silverhaws and the Cineplexx Blue Devils, played on the same day starting from 2PM. The two teams started the season completely different – the Blue Devils suffered a loss in their opening game, but beat the same team two weeks ago, to even their record.

At the same time, the Silverhawks suffered a heartbreaking loss in Belgrade two weeks ago, also evening their record at 1-1. But considering they came so close against the league champs on their turf, it was yet another proof, that they have serious plans for this year. Their imports had a great start to the season, as Anthony Gardner passed for almost 300 yards and 4 scores, and Desmond Hendricks led the defense with 11 tackles, 2 for loss.

The Devils must be feeling good about themselves right now, getting the rematch against the same team that beat them in the opening round. They also won big, showing maybe it was just a bad day in their first game.

The winner takes – at least for now – second place. Good enough to earn Game of the week status.
