The Blue Devils have hosted the Silverhawks on Saturday in Hohenems in the second to last week of regular season. The Silverhawks have won by 19-49, retaining the chance to place at the top of the standings table in the closing week. Blue Devils will play the semifinals as a visiting team and their host will be decided next week.

The Silverhawks have opened the game with a quick touchdown and the Blue Devils have answered right back through David Lamprecht’s run. The visitors didn’t lose any time and have raised the bar again through a Clark Evans passing touchdown to Matic Tomse in the first period and another one in the second, to end the half with 7-21.

The Blue Devils tried to keep up after the intermission with passing touchdowns by Allan McClain to Michael Steffani and Benjamin Fussenegger. However, their defense couldn’t stop Slovenians who proved their dominance through a couple of rushing touchdowns by Evans and another by Crepinsek.
