The Ljubljana Silverhawks retained the title and the right to be called the best team in Slovenia. The not very surprising outcome was confirmed when they beat the Zagreb Thunder 29-19 in the final of SNFL.

Now a two time champion of Slovenia, the Silverhawks managed to defend their title, despite a solid second half effort from the Croatian team. The Thunder is currently participating in the Slovenian league, albeit a Croatian team.
