Thus far, it’s all going as planned for the Cineplexx Blue Devils — two games into the season, they’re 2-0, winning both games with a total score of 86-15. This week’s victim were the Ljubljana Silverhawks, as the Blue Devils beat them 47-8 in their home debut.

It was over pretty quickly for the Silverhawks, as they found themselves down three touchdowns in the first quarter, but at least it can be said they put up a good fight in the second quarter. In it, they managed a point more than their opponent, scoring a touchdown and succeeding in their two point attempt.

The Blue Devils went in front 20-0 behind Joseph Sturdivant’s three touchdowns in the first quarter, two on Bradley Guidry’s passes and one on a 65 yard punt return. Guidry got one more when he passed to for a 27-8 halftime lead, and Tino Muggwyler was once again the closer, scoring three in the third quarter and rushing for a total of 215 yards, breaking Rastko Jokić’s old rushing record in a single game. With two from Budapest, he now has five for the season, putting him near the top of the league in total touchdowns scored.
