The Budapest Cowboys have released their Head Coach Wally English from further responsibilities to the team after the third straight loss of the season. The loss to the Dukes wasn’t the primary reason for the Cowboys to replace their coach however, it was his decision to leave the game before the end that forced the Cowboys to act.

Playing two competitions proved to be costly for the Novi Sad Dukes, as their quarterback Čaba Juhas suffered a leg injury that will prevent him from playing again this season. He broke his shinbone after one of his own teammates fell on his leg during the Dukes Serbian league game against Niš, and was immediately taken to a Novi Sad hospital for surgery.

Only a few days after helping his team to become the first team this year to secure a playoff berth with a win in Budapest, the Vukovi Belgrade quarterback Jordan Green was honored in a way unrelated to playing football in Serbia.

If it wasn’t enough they lost to the Vukovi Belgrade, all but eliminating themselves from the playoffs, the Budapest Wolves will play out the 2009 season without their leading receiver for the year.

Two straight losses were enough for the Cowboys, as they decided to add another foreign player, quarterback and receiver Travis Brody.

The Wolves won't play their home game in Budapest, instead going to Novi Sad, but it's not all bad, as the cameras will be waiting for them.
