Budapest pulls away

It was good weather at the capital town of Hungary, when the Budapest Wolves hosted North division rival ASVÖ Gladiators. What was supposed to be a good game, against all game recap clichés turned out to be a good game where the Wolves were simply a better team, winning by a 21 point margin

Fast and furious

In their SELAF debut, the Budapest Wolves had no problems getting a win defeating the Ljubljana Silverhawks in Ljubljana 37-16 in another lopsided loss for the Silverhawks. With one win, they lost three games and were outmatched in all three – this one was no different with the Wolves leading 27-0 at halftime

Derby that wasn’t

Unlike all the previous games between Belgrade and Kragujevac, where the Wild Boars almost always found a way to beat the highly motivated Vukovi, the team from Belgrade this time cruised to a 34-0 win dealing a hard blow to the reigning champions’ playoff hopes

Juhas uncatchable for the Silverhawks

The Novi Sad Dukes proved why they were favored to win at home against the Ljubljana Silverhawks with an easy 38-0 win. After their second straight shut out of Ljubljana at home, Dukes are now 3-0 for the season with playoffs in sight after only one month of play

Vukovi come back to win

Ljubljana’s great third quarter for the win

The Silverhawks earned their first win of the season after beating the Kragujevac Wild Boars 26-19 in Ljubljana. Rok Milek ran for two and passed for one touchdown, while Robert Cochran caught two – enough for a win against the Wild Boars in the teams’ only matchup this season

A win after all

After a little more than three quarters the Novi Sad Dukes had a safe lead of 18-7 and were on the verge of victory, but the Vukovi Belgrade managed to get to the end zone in the last few minutes twice, setting up one of the most interesting SELAF games ever for about a thousand people in the stands

Similar to the first game of the year between Kragujevac and Novi Sad, the ASVÖ Gladiators had no problems winning their away match in Ljubljana, as the Silverhawks lost their fifth straight in SELAF going back to last year
