Juhas uncatchable for the Silverhawks

The Novi Sad Dukes proved why they were favored to win at home against the Ljubljana Silverhawks with an easy 38-0 win. After their second straight shut out of Ljubljana at home, Dukes are now 3-0 for the season with playoffs in sight after only one month of play

Jovan Golušin scored on a 20 yard run in the middle of the fourth quarter to complete the Vukovi's comeback; down by 14 points early in the second quarter the Vukovi fought back scoring two touchdowns in the second half to get a 21 - 14 win

With the Ljubljana Silverhawks playing in Novi Sad and the Vukovi going to Rudersdorf for an abroad game also, there will be two matches in SELAF this week. Both will be played on Saturday, with the Gladiators-Vukovi game starting at 3PM, and the game in Novi Sad one hour later

The Silverhawks earned their first win of the season after beating the Kragujevac Wild Boars 26-19 in Ljubljana. Rok Milek ran for two and passed for one touchdown, while Robert Cochran caught two – enough for a win against the Wild Boars in the teams’ only matchup this season

On Sunday, Ljubljana will play their second game of the season and their second home game when they host the Kragujevac Wild Boars from Serbia. A win after all

After a little more than three quarters the Novi Sad Dukes had a safe lead of 18-7 and were on the verge of victory, but the Vukovi Belgrade managed to get to the end zone in the last few minutes twice, setting up one of the most interesting SELAF games ever for about a thousand people in the stands

Wolves easy win

The Budapest Wolves beat the Lower Austrian Titans in their season opener in the Austrian Division I 0-27 in Vienna. The Austrian team formed of former players of the Baden Bruins and AFC Rangers could not match the Wolves’ neither in size and power, nor in skills and knowledge of the game. The Wolves did not score a touchdown in the second half preventing a real KO from happening.
