The Ljubljana Silverhawks had a good showing in their preseason game, beating the Kragujevac Wild Boars 20-0.

Maurice Jones scored on a punt return touchdown and Rok Štamcar and Nikola Grbić added scores of their own for a win over a very good team. The Wild Boars played in the EFAF-Cup final last year and played in the Serbian championship game, where they lost to the CEFL champs, Vukovi. They are one of the most successful Serbian teams of the last 10 years.

The Silverhaws overcame a slow start to get an important win. The win was not without problems as several players suffered minor injuries. The Silverhawks play their next game on the following weekend against the Maribor Generals. They make their CEFL 2012 debut in two weeks against the Zagreb Patriots.
