CEFL 2010
26 January 2010The CEFL wishes everyone all the best in 2010. The beginning of a new year also marks the beginning of the league’s preparation for the new season, with the league holding its annual meeting this weekend.
This time, the league’s teams will gather in Budapest on Saturday, January the 23rd, with the Budapest Wolves being the host team. This unlike the previous two years when the meeting was held in Zagreb. As always, the primary goal of the meeting will be for teams to establish the terms and rules of competition for next season.
Last season, issues that could have occurred during it and their possible solution is always one of the most important parts of the meeting. The decisions made between the league and the teams during the meeting may and will probably lead to some of the league rules being revised, or some new rules being introduced.
This part of the meeting will be concluded with the league adopting its competition rules for season 2010. Some of the changes that occurred in the past included new realigment of team within the conferences, or refinement of the league’s import players rules.
Among other things. CEFL officiating will be officially presented during the meeting, as it became operable between last year’s meeting and the season’s start.
All important changes will become known to the public next week.
