The SBB Vukovi’s head coach Sean Embree, has agreed to terms with the Serbian Association, SAAF, to coach their national team, published the SAAF on its website saaf.rs.

Embree will take over as the coach of the national team, but the association also stated he will be in charge for development programs, such as handling coaching clinics or assisting teams directly.

He will technically replace nobody, since the Serbian top organization went trough a few years of turmoil. During the time, several teams branched-off and formed the current federation, with all of the remaining teams finally joining last year. The old federation SAFS, ceased to exist, and Embree is the first coach of the new federation.

The association also announced that they will form their plans for future national team games based on the EFAF’s decision related to the 2012 Group C European Championships. It is not yet known when it will take place.

The Serbian team participated in the EC in Austria in 2007, finishing in 4th place, with 1 win and 2 losses.
